'Lavish'

Lavish’ was born from in-depth research into human nature. Looking into consumerism and people’s desires and needs, alongside imagery of nature’s consumption of its environment, lead to researching cave formations.

Gemstones enveloped in rock hard mineral deposits beautifully symbolised how the desire for something can dominate the beauty of what was originally coveted. Each piece is handmade individually so, although they appear alike, no two pieces are exactly the same.
Cast-in-place gemstones encapsulate the theme of something yearned for becoming overshadowed by the want for it.
